There is a bus service (T1) connecting the nearest train station (Aberystwyth) to the site; please see our 'public transport page.' However, we can provide a collection/drop-off service if this is booked in advance.
Yes – we can provide this service if you contact us on booking to arrange it. We are happy to drop you off locally, and can even collect and drop off luggage at your next stopping point.
Guests are welcome to bring BBQs, but we ask they are not placed on the grass. We do provide BBQs for your use, and have charcoal available for purchase. Disposable BBQs are not encouraged due to the increased risk of fires from their use and disposal, in addition to the fact that they cannot be recycled or composted and end up contributing to landfill.
Yes – if you are celebrating an occasion please let us know upon booking. If you have already booked and want to add a package, please contact us.
We will shortly be adding local area guides to our website. Alternatively, once you are here, we have a large map of the area available, with information guides, and are happy to help with suggestions.
No, we do not provide internet, allowing guests who want to switch off to do just that. However, if you do need phone accessibility, we do have excellent 4G signal on site.
Our bell tents comfortably sleep 2 people in a double bed, but we are able to put up to two extra camp beds in (plus other extra furniture); these need to be communicated in advance when booking.
Yes – we do accept small group bookings. In these circumstances, there is also the opportunity to bring a tent of your own to increase the group size.
Yes, although we have a minimum two-night stay in peak season. We may accept a one-night stay during this time, please contact us on social media/telephone before booking.
Yes, the double beds will be fully made up for your arrival. If you book extra camp beds, these will also be ready for use. Towels are NOT included, as we find people like to bring their own, but packs can be hired.
Yes, each bell tent has a limited power supply, suitable for phone charging only. We have a hairdryer near the camping kitchen which can be used free of charge, and the electrical sockets in the camping kitchen can be used for your own hairdryers and straighteners should you need them.
Yes, we have a small shop selling essentials, including eggs from our own chickens, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, and charcoal, please see our 'shop' page. We also sell BBQ and breakfast packs sourced from local producers, and these can be added at the time of booking.
Campers have access to a toilet, shower, fire pit, BBQs, and a large kitchen area with a gas cooker, kettle, toaster, and fridge freezer. Essential kitchen utensils and a comfortable seating area are also provided. We accommodate a limited number of tents (up to ten) and particularly welcome smaller tents, especially from those on biking and cycling tours of the area.
Guests can check in from 3pm on the arrival date. We kindly request guests to arrive before 9pm. Check-out is at 10.30am on the day of departure.
Yes! We try to arrange meet and greets for guests whenever possible. Please enquire upon check-in, allowing us enough time to schedule a suitable day and time. These visits must be accompanied by one of our staff members for insurance purposes.
For the safety of our animals, we request that you refrain from feeding them. Certain foods can be toxic to them. If you have booked a meet and greet, we may provide a small amount of food for you to give them.
No, we are unable to accept dogs in our bell tents or camping area due to our working smallholding and array of pets.
If you plan to have guests visit during your stay, please contact us prior to your arrival. We request this information for safety reasons. Guests are not permitted to stay overnight unless they are part of the booked party, for insurance reasons.
Our car parking area is limited, so we request that each tent brings only one car.
No, all cars must be left in the designated car parking area. There is a walk to the bell tents, which may not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues or very young children. If you are uncertain, please contact us before booking.
Unfortunately, we do not have EV charging points available at the moment.
Yes, we encourage our customers to bring bicycles. Bike stands are available on site at your own risk. Alternatively, we provide bicycles for hire, complete with helmets.
No, we do not accept caravans, motorhomes, or campervans.
Yes, we kindly ask our guests to respect our quiet times between 11pm and 7am.
